1. Appointed National Coordinator by ICOG/FOGSI for supporting ICOG/FOGSI, GOI and WHO for supporting " Establishing an Accreditation System for competency based trainings and health facilities offering reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health services in the private sector in India."

a. Goal of the project is to contribute towards enhancing access, availability, equity of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health services.

2. MOU signed with Government of Madhya Pradesh to implement comprehensive HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS and LEADERSHIP IN PUBLIC HEALTH PRACTICE COURSE

There are three parties to this MOU

a. The Directorate of Health Services Public Health & Family welfare Department Ministry of Health, Family, Medical Education and Research Government of MP.

b.  Health Information System Programme (HISP), India. 

c.  AVNI Health Foundation.

While HISP is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the Health Information Management Systems (called the HIMS component), AVNI will be responsible for the design and implementation of capacity building programs related to “Leadership in Public Health Practice”

 

3. PHASE III - Building capacity in the field of Public Health in India " Oral Healthcare Providers and HIV/AIDS" 28th February - 14th March 2007. The workshops are a collaborative initiative of National and International partners.
