This division provides technical expertise in setting up program management units and managing ongoing public health programs, provides support - to design and conduct small to large-scale research and evaluation studies, to partners, to source funds for research, evaluation and intervention projects and to independently source funds for the organization to conduct research and evaluation studies related to public health.
The division provides a range of public health related conference, meeting and event management assistance; publication development and production; database management; website development and maintenance, information systems technology and application services and media and film production services.
This division provides expertise in developing health related software as per clients needs. It would also work towards setting up "State of the Art" "e" public health facilitation centre with national and international linkages. The electronic dial in computer based network would use Geographical Information database available for Government, NGOs, and Universities for all information pertaining to public health care.
The Publications center provides expertise in designing, printing and disseminating print, electronic and audiovisual materials for both technical and lay audiences with the goal of effective health communication. AVNI?s services range from a one-page fact sheet to a research report or extensive health education materials depending on the clients needs. AVNI can provide comprehensive services from planning to distribution of materials or partial involvement in only writing or graphic design alone.
AVNI has strong partnership and collaboration with International agencies and Universities to conduct short and long term public health training courses. These courses range from short term public health courses, example, Evaluation, Behaviour change communication techniques, Behaviour change models, Qualitative research methods, Statistical techniques for data analysis, and long term degree courses like, Masters in Public Health and doctoral courses in Public health.
Our proposed collaborations include International teaching Universities and Schools of Public Health in the United States of America, United Kingdom and the West Indies as well as National Universities and Organizations. A resident team is maintained to provide continuity and stability to our long-term projects. Where appropriate and as needed specialized consultants are engaged to augment resident staff on specific projects.
