Avni has been at the forefront of implementing several public health related programs aimed at improving the health status of fellow country men and women.

For the last few years Avni has been focussed on programs related to reduction on maternal mortality and morbidity in India through our initiatives in maternal death reviews, maternal near miss reviews, gestational diabetes mellitus program, post-partum intrauterine contraception.

LDI (Leadership Development Initiative) - REACH (Removing barriers to effective access and coverage of maternal healthcare) 2022 - 2025	India	FOGSI – The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India/International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO)/Avni Health Foundation (AHF)	Objectives of this Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded programme, is to 1. increase the coverage of key maternal health clinical interventions, in order to reduce maternal mortality 2. identify the barriers to effective coverage of those interventions, nationally and internationally. 3. address those barriers as professional societies and frontline health professionals, through a number of approaches including leadership development, gender equity, advocacy and communication.
AMPLI PPHI - Accelerating Measurable Progress and Leveraging Investments for Post Partum Haemorrhage (PPH) Impact 2022 - 2026	India 2 States	FOGSI/FIGO/AHF/JHPIEGO/ PATH	Objectives of the UNITAID funded project is to catalyze early adoption and scale-up of new and recently recommended drugs to prevent or treat PPH in high-burden countries as part of an integrated package of PPH.
Dheera – Stop Violence Against Women (VAW) 2021-2022	India	FOGSI/AHF/UNICEF	Reaching boys and girls (9th – 12th grade), teachers, parents, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ObGyns) on stopping VAW. Capacity building, Operationalizing implementation of VAW. Planning, implementation, Advocacy, documentation. Design, development, deployment and maintenance of VAW software and generating regular report for planning action. Reach 3500+ schools, 500,000 students, 20,000 teachers and 36000 ObGyn’s.
Respectful Abortion Care (RAC) 2021 - 2022	India	FOGSI/ AHF/WHO/GoI	Capacity building of Health care providers, planning, implementation, design and development of reporting tools and scale up of Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act ammendments 2021. 36000 ObGyn's.
